At One Coast Design, I was in charge of all things marketing. From brand identity, to social strategy, to content creation, I controlled everything our audience sees. This often involved mining data insights and trending topics in the interior design space to further pivot and stay relevant in our copy and visual aspects.
For a majority of our clients, I was the in-house photographer and videographer, often vertically integrating my workflow from shooting to editing and publishing. This made me more proficient in Photoshop, Lightroom, and DaVinci Resolve.
I also became more proficient in vertical-form content including TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts that hold the potential to grab a whole new audience on those platforms.
My degree was put to work when I created a marketing/social media campaign for the summer/fall '23 season. I was tasked with researching our brand and how it fits into the industry, as well as using data insights to re-target our audience and restructure our content direction and copy. Social media posts were scheduled 60 days ahead with a focus on consistency and providing value to the viewers.
